We explore AI in our most recent CC2i Fundamentals webinar

On exactly a year to the day that ChatGPT was launched (on 14th March, 2023) CC2i and Hut Six (creators of CC2i Fundamentals) hosted an interactive webinar, on Exploring how staff can spot AI driven cyber threats, which delved into the continuously evolving nature of Artificial Intelligence, its sophisticated mechanisms and its impact on cyber security, including any potential pitfalls. As AI is integrated into more public sector processes and platforms, it’s imperative that the tool is understood as much as possible, so it can be utilised safely and effectively, something which Hut Six’s Digital Learning Designer, Patrick Bousfield discussed in more detail, along with releasing a preview of the brand new AI module, which will be available soon.

Also covered was a presentation on CC2i Fundamentals by CC2i’s account manager Lottie Horwood, focusing on the wide range of product features, including customisable options, the flexibility to release modules on a schedule of the client’s choosing and the approach of the scenario based modules, available alongside the tutorials.

CC2i’s CEO Guy Giles rounded off the webinar, announcing a new CC2i led project, focusing on AI and more specifically, curated content in Adult Social Care and/or Children’s Social Care. As an area that will benefit greatly from an AI approach, CC2i is looking for three to five councils to collaborate with a technical partner who have a proven track record in deploying AI in councils and the NHS – for more details, you can find the full pitch here.

The session was attended by over 20 organisations across both local and public authorities, and received hugely positive feedback – for further insight, you can watch the full session below and to request the slides, please get in touch.
