On 23rd October, the CC2i Fundamentals team hosted a webinar titled ‘Hook, Line, and Secure: Mastering Phishing Defence with Simulators’ which honed in on Simulated Phishing campaigns, an essential tool for combating phishing attacks, which accounted for 83% of all cyber attacks in 2023 (according to the UK Government’s 2023 Cyber Security Breaches survey). Continuous staff training and testing are crucial to ensure employees remain vigilant and can identify potential threats, helping to safeguard both themselves and their organisations.

Leading the presentation on running an impactful Simulated Phishing campaign was Hut Six’s Digital Learning Designer Patrick Bousfield, who highlighted a compelling case study, practical templates, and key steps to take after running a campaign to ensure maximum success.

Following on from Patrick’s presentation was a run through of CC2i Fundamentals’ simulated phishing tool by Lottie Horwood, CC2i’s Account Manager, detailing its three stage approach for optimal learning outcomes, as well as giving a preview of just some of the templates available in our extensive and regularly updated library.
