iNetwork Innovation Awards 2021 – CC2i triumphs for Creativity

The iNetwork Innovation Awards are always great to be involved with, celebrating significant, innovative projects from public sector partners across the NorthWest, Yorkshire and Humber, and this year was no different. It was the first time so many of us had been together in a room again, that the excitement was palpable and the welcome warm.
One of the key collaborative projects CC2i brought together in 2021 was up for an award. Hospital to Home and North Lincolnshire were nominated in the Transforming & Innovating Public Service (TIPS) category and CC2i and the whole Hospital to Home partnership (North Lincolnshire, Sutton, Herefordshire, Southend and Birmingham, plus the LGA, NHS Digital and technical partners Maldaba) were up for the Partnership Excellence award.
On the night we lost out to some really worthy winners; Greater Manchester Combined Authority & Partners for their Safer Streets Fund R3 Programme in the TIPS category and NDL for Covid-19 Local Test Booking, Administration and Reporting Solution in the Partnership Excellence category. We really have no issues with losing to safer streets for women and ensuring the rollout and delivery of Covid vaccines – however much we rate our work around Discharge to Assess!
However we did not leave empty handed, we won the ‘Most Creative Video Award’, and as those of you who have been to an iNetwork event will know, this is much coveted! Our video shows the power of collaboration, the importance of an alliance, and the value that each partner brings. It is of course tongue in cheek, but we do all really fight for the ‘light’ side and sometimes it’s fun to show acknowledge everyone as the hard working heroes they really are. Enjoy!
