Working with BAFTA award winning film-makers, Matobo, and following hot-on-the-heels of a successful local authority focused collaboration, this opportunity allows your organisation not only to shape and deliver cyber training and e-learning to your staff, but give greater digital protection to your organisation.
We are seeking five housing associations keen to work together to create sector specific cyber awareness e-learning modules, capable of informing all levels of staff around the increasing cyber risks to both themselves and organisations, and how to mitigate against them.
The collaboration will use learning from the current council-focused collaboration, which itself was based on the BBC's mandatory cyber awareness training. Indeed this housing focused approach is being run because we know the collaborative model works, not only delivering highly relevant content, but enabling partners to share the cost and create a bespoke product.
With staff being one of the key lines of cyber defence, giving them access to up-to-date learning about how to be cyber aware is critical.
Modules will cover
The pitch has two distinct work streams, the first being an analysis phase, where Matobo works with partners on the specific needs of housing associations and the messages that need to be highlighted. Having successfully delivered to the BBC and local authorities means Matobo are able to exploit anything already created, and quickly identify what is missing to ensure the greatest possible impact on your workforce. This phase will also consider what degree of localisation is required.
The second part of the work programme will create a housing association specific set of e-learning films to be deployed across all participating partners. This will entail scripting, editing, content and commentary creation, animation, review and deployment. Throughout the process all collaborating housing associations will input and sign off on key elements.
The successful council focused collaboration - on which you can read more here - will deliver over 35 minutes of high quality animated content and supporting e-learning material across 12 focused modules, and we would imagine the housing version to be a similar length.
The animated approach is proven to be easy for all levels of staff to engage with, enabling people to dip into the learning as their job allows, ensuring all staff are up to speed - including key elements of GDPR - but also allowing for content to be updated easily as the cyber-sphere moves on.

By co-funding and inputting your experience into the collaboration, participating housing associations get access to the housing focused video files and supporting e-learning for use on internal learning management (or similar) systems for staff across their organisation.
We are looking to bring a collaboration together in October/November time with a view to deliver the final e-learning by the end of January 2018.
